Links to third-party websites are available for your convenience and information and if you choose to click on them you leave the Navix website and are no longer protected by Navix's Privacy Statement. Navix does not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites. The personal data you choose to provide to or that is collected by these third parties is not covered by the this Privacy Statement. We suggest you not to release your personal information to third parties' request before reviewing their stated privacy policy.
2. Collection of personal information
Individuals applying for a job are requested to provide personal information to start hiring process. In these cases the types of personal information may include contact information such as name, address, telephone number, and email address; contact preferences, educational and employment background, and job interest data.
Being Navix a B2B (Business to Business) company we do not collect personal information other that name and email of customers interested in subscribing to our document distribution service. Product and service preferences, contact preferences, and other data related to contests, surveys and the like could also be requested.
Web visitors who choose to use a refer-a-friend programs on our site, will be asked to provided friend’s e-mail address intended to and automatically send that person a one-time e-mail inviting him/her to visit the site. Navix uses and stores this information only for the purpose of sending this one-time e-mail and to provide refer-a-friend message blocking, where available.
3. Automatic Data Collection
In addition to personal information provided, Navix may also collect information during your visitor's browsing our website through our Automatic Data Collection Tools, which include Web beacons, cookies, embedded Web links, and other commonly used information-gathering tools. These tools collect certain standard information that all browsers send to our website such as browser type and language, access times, and the address of the website from which visitor arrived at the Navix website. These tools may also collect information about visitor's Internet Protocol (IP) address, clickstream behavior (i.e. the pages viewed, links clicked, and other actions taken in connection with Navix websites) and services/products information.
An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to a computer whenever surfing the Web, allowing Web servers to locate and identify that computer. Computers use IP addresses to communicate on the Internet, allowing users to browse and shop. Navix may also use some of these Automatic Data Collection Tools in connection with certain emails sent from Navix and therefore may collect information using these tools as well, when email recipient opens the email or clicks on a link contained in the email.
Navix can also collect information from commercially available sources deemed credible. Such information may include individual's name, address, email address and demographic data. This information from commercial sources may be used along with the information collected upon visit to our website. For instance, Navix may cross geographic information acquired from commercial sources with IP addresses collected by Automatic Data Collection Tools to derive visitor's geographic area.
4. How Navix uses collected information
Collected information may be used to assist customers in completing a transaction or order; to communicate customers on Navix products and services; to provide service and support; to update on new services and/or benefits; to provide personalized promotional offers; to select content to be communicated to visitor; to personalize some website pages; to allow visitor to participate in contests and surveys; to contact visitors for market research regarding Navix's products or services.
5. How Navix shares visitors' information
Navix will not sell, rent or lease visitors' personal information to others except as described in this Statement.
From time to time, our Company participates in marketing initiatives with other companies. As part of these initiatives, certain marketing communications are delivered at the same time as those from other companies. Some of these services and communications might offer the customer the option to share personal information with both Navix and the other companies participating in these initiatives. If customer agrees might receive marketing communications from Navix and other companies or have the opportunity to register online for software products from multiple companies. If customer chooses to provide personal information only to Navix, we will not share this information with the other companies participating in that marketing initiative.
Except as described in this Statement, Navix will not share visitors' personal information with non-Navix third parties without customer's permission, unless to: (i) respond to duly authorized information requests of police and governmental authorities; (ii) comply with any law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; (iii) help prevent fraud or to enforce or protect the rights and properties of Navix or its subsidiaries; or (iv) protect the personal safety of Navix employees and third parties on Navix property.
If whether for strategic or other business reasons, Navix decides to sell, buy, merge or otherwise reorganize businesses, such a transaction may involve the disclosure of personal information to prospective or actual purchasers, or the receipt of it from sellers. It is Navix’s practice to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions.
6. Children's privacy
Navix does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 and does not target its websites to children under 13. We encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests.
7. Customer's choices and privacy preferences selection
Navix gives customers the choice of receiving a variety of information that complements our products and services. Customers can subscribe to receive certain documents and service-specific information and also choose to receive Navix general communications. We provide a choice regarding delivery of Navix general communications by email only or through other information or interchange providers such as social media, for example, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook or the like. Information interchange through those third party media does not compromise Navix commitment nor any liabilities or responsibility for any privacy issue.
8. Subscription communications
Subscription communications include email newsletters, white papers, case studies, etc. that may be expressly requested by recipient. After requesting such communications, customers may opt out of receiving them by selecting the email "opt out" or "unsubscribe" link, or follow the opt-out instructions included in each subscription communication.
9. Access to and accuracy of customer's information
Navix strives to keep customer's personal information accurately recorded. To protect customer's privacy and security, Navix can also take reasonable steps to verify customer's identity, such as requiring a password and user ID, before granting access to data.
10. Keeping customer's personal information secure
To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of the information, Navix utilizes appropriate physical, technical and administrative procedures to safeguard the information we collect.

If Navix changes this privacy statement, we will post the revised statement here, with an updated revision date. If we make significant changes to our statement, we may also notify you by other means, such as sending an email or posting a notice on our home page.
